Wacom my library8/1/2023 Which is impossible if the game does not use OS routines. Mouse is relative, tablet is absolute and you can't convert absoluterelative without knowing screen area and possible mouse acceleration features. Never going to work properly without game-specific patches. Note that nothing has been done yet ("appears", "seems", "it looks like") If it works as expected, "mousehack" mode can be removed because tablet messages can be automatically detected. It looks like it would be quite easy to translate wintab messages to Amiga tablet input messages. (EDIT: confirmed working at least with Wacom tablets) Windows seems to have de-facto standard for tablet input called wintab. There appears to be (not very well documented) tablet vice messages implemented in KS 3.0+ (pressure, tilt etc.) I'm reluctantly considering reasonably priced, DPaint-inspired Project Dogwaffle Professional on Windows for my video animation work, but I'm not done with Amiga for my creative fun yet. I'll keep up hope.Īccessing the existing expressive painting pressure-sensitive effects built into Amiga animation programs, which incudes at least DPaintV, under mighty WinUAE, could be fun to explore. I wonder if any WinUAE users have found a solution for any of them with current tablet systems. There were so many standards for tablets. I remember my OpalVision video-slot board had it for the natural media tools. I see TVPaint for Amiga has tablet support. suports graphire tablet, but it doesn't appear to detect my USB Wacom.Īnother starting point to solving my problem I found here. I used the DPaintV installer, I wonder why it isn't there. Getting the UAE to detect the USB Graphire tablet seems to be just the first problem for me. You are right of course, the apps needs to support the function.
